Surprising no one, we’ve given our January newsstand cover to the girl everyone is talking about, M3GAN!

For M3GAN’s cover debut, we went right to her (on-screen) creator, Allison Williams, as well as the FX team who brought 2023’s “It” girl to life. Other new releases in the mag include Jason Eisener’s Kids Vs. Aliens, Emily Hagins’ Sorry About the Demon and Roxanne Benjamin’s There’s Something Wrong with the Children. On the international front, we’ve got Mike Gingold reporting on the highly anticipated Huesera: The Bone Woman and Attachment!

If FX is your thing, makeup legend Ve Neill talks to the great Greg Cannom about his classic work on Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and Chainsaw Award winner Christopher Nelson opens up his iPhone and spoils the hell out Halloween Ends with some horrific, previously unseen makeup FX images.

Horror icon Jamie Lee Curtis sits for a candid interview with the first man to play The Shape (Nick Castle), and the last man to play The Shape (James Jude Courtney).
